Hi Guys and Girls, I have a problem I hope you can help.

I plugged my Orico Hard Drive into my laptop and it comes up as {Drive D).

I then click onto Drive D and it seems to download whats on there by the green bar at the top of the page.

Then comes a pop up box that says " please insert Disc into USB Drive ( D ).

I am trying to find what's on my External hard drive.

Makes no sense to me, Please help !

Hello.

Possible causes:

  • Your removable device is not well connected
  • Your USB drive is not recognized by the computer
  • Your device is inaccessible

Have you tried to use the drive in another USB port?

Have you tried to use the drive in another computer?

Something else to try:

Unplug the external drive, and go to This PC. Is there already a drive D there?  If yes, you will need to change the letter of the external.

Let us know about the above, so we can continue accordingly.
