Colpying photo files from IPone to Windows 7 pc

I have been trying to transfer jpg. photo files from Iphone utilizing USB cable(Charging cable) but the PC is only recognizing about 15% of photos which are in folders(1 pic per folder). I don't believe my PC is set up to show hidden files .

Control Panel, (View By:  Large Icons)  Folder Options, View.
 
Uncheck Hide Extensions for Known File Types
Uncheck Hide Protected System Files
Check Show Hidden Files,Folders and Drives.
OK

When I Uncheck Hide Protected System Files, I  get a dialogue box that advises me that these files are integral to the operation of Windows and should not be played with.

Just ignore the warning but stay away from files in the Windows folder.
