I'm wondering if what I'm asking is possible. I have blue tooth head set/headphones and I want to use them to play a game and talk with my friends. I play World of Tanks and almost everyone uses either TeamSpeak or Discord for communication, because it's better than in-game comms.

When I connect the game and I'm using the headset/headphones I can hear the game sounds, but once I connect to TeamSpeak or Discord I can't hear the game sounds any longer. I know that others in my clan or on my friends list have been able to listen to both, but we're all old and they can't remember how they got it to work. One guy said "it just was working when I started up this morning".

Can anyone at all help me with this?

While playing your game and on DIscord.  Right click on the Speaker icon near the clock.  (If you don't see it then click on the up arrow to the left of the clock and you should see the speaker)  Click on Open Volume Mixer.  Try adjusting the sliders.  Perhaps that will help.
