1. Is this the right sub-forum on GtsG for Alexa-type devices?

2. I can ask my Alexa to play a local radio station and it complies.  --- The action to find and connect to the station: is that carried out within the Echo device itself; or is it done by the laptop PC to which my Echo is attached?

3. Can anyone suggest good sites that specialize in Alexa-type issues?

4. The clarity of a broadcast received by an Echo device: It seems to me that the clarity of a radio station fetched by my Echo should be constant, independent of the time of day (and of radio atmospheric effects). But, in fact, the clarity seems to vary with time of day.

Is that just my imagination? Should not the audio quality be independent of time of day?

Thanks all.   ..... batpark
