My trusty old Windows 7 laptop suddenly died after 10 years of loyal service.
The whole of the hard disk was transfered to my external hard disk. Nothing is lost.
I am in the process of reinstalling all my files on the replacement Windows 10 laptop. Files, browsers, everything.
My browser on the replacement machine is Firefox 113.0.2 (64 bits).
My question is how do I transfer my bookmarks profile saved in my External Hard Disk to Firefox in the replacement laptop?
I had many bookmarks on the Windows 7 computer (now dead and gone to recycling). HD.is saved.
I did not think of making screen shots of all the bookmarks I had in there. I never thought the trustly old puter would die so abruptly.
I am no computer genius, just a good user. Is there an easy way I can move my bookmarks profile from my external HDD to the replacement laptop without getting too much of a headache?
Thank you all in advance for your remarks, ideas and contributions.
