Hello:

I have a Lenovo B575 laptop 32 bit, 6 GB ram running on Windows 7 Home Premium.  I am looking for a pre-owned AC adapter, as I can't seem to find a new one on Amazon or the Lenovo site as the laptop is not new.  I did manage to find someone who has a universal adapter(20 V., 3.25 A, 45 W.) and I am wondering if that would be compatible with my laptop.

i  have been over the internet and whether it's onthe Lenovo site or other sites the adapters have a rating of 65w whereas my original adapter was 45 w. and i am wondering if this would make a difference in so far as power is concerned.

Hi,

Will I be able to use an adapter that is rated at 65 watts seeing as the original adapter was rated at 45 watts.?

Not really, the important thing is that the Voltage is the same and the Amperes have the same value or higher that is printed on the laptop.
