I've got some bookcases in my home theater room where I store/display my film collection. I'm wanting to put some LED light strips along the underside of each shelf with dimmable/color temp controllable white LEDs. I found this kit on Amazon, which also has the option to pick up another (matching) set of just strip lights. Would it work if I combined this kit with another 16ft set of just lights, cutting each strip into three 5ish foot long pieces, and connected with wiring like this that's soldered onto the endpoints of each so they're all chained?

This is my 1st time dabbling with LED lighting and I just wanted to check before ordering!
