Every night around 2am there is something in the background that uses massive amounts of data, often up to around 1.6GB per night.

I can't find what is using this data.

Screenshot of data usage attached.

Chrisy26, is this the computer we are trying to clean here

If yes, I would appreciate if we finished from there and then ask about any remaining issues or concerns. It's not a wise move two people to work on your computer at the same time.

Hi Dr M

It's Chrissy here again, you helped me a few days ago with the search engine hijack, and we fixed that issue.

I have just found this new problem, and seeing as you already worked on my computer it would best if you did it again.

It's the same computer that we are trying to clean. The problem has been happening for some time, and is still happening after we did the clean the other day.

Hi, Chrissy.

Your previous topic is still pending. As I told you here:

4. If your computer seems to start working normally, don't abandon the topic. Even if your system is behaving normally, there may still be some malware remnants left over. Additionally, malware can re-infect the computer if some remnants are left. Therefore, please complete all requested steps to make sure any malware is successfully eradicated from your PC.

I already asked you something in that topic and you didn't reply yet. Please, have patience, so we can reach the end of the process. Since we are talking about the same computer, I'll close this topic now, and we can continue there. If it is needed, I'll ask you to open a new topic elsewhere.
