I want to know if staying with the GPU 770 on the Intel 14700 is fine for YouTube videos at 4000k or less or should I spring for the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super.

My understanding is the 1660 works well for general Windows Home use and YouTube videos that include at times 4000k.

The indigenous Intl 730 GPU attached to i5 14,400 (14the generation) is fine; I have no problems with any YouTube videos, some of which I suspect are 4000k attached to music videos-my main video use.

The use of handheld 4000k cameras seems to be in considerable use.

My concern is the changeover to more 4000k online video content.

I have a 30-day period to return on my just purchased HP with a Intel® Core™ i5-14400 so I can return it, but soon.

I may as well get ahead of the game if I am expending money for a computer.

My thought was advancing to the i7 14700 chip would give me better overall video quality.

I have also read the 730 is has some challenges at times with video in select circumstances.

I also read the 770 GPU provides better video quality over the 730 for overall use e.g. YouTube videos up to 4k as well as streaming etc.

My computer by far is for research, and I open many tabs and multiple windows at a time, which by default I sense makes me a multi-tasker.

My enjoyment of YouTube videos is quite occasional, but I do much appreciate the additional video quality of the i5 over my older Ryzen 3.

With the 16G RAM (coupled with the i5), my consumption according to the task manager is as high as 70+ %, so going to a 32 RAM is a reasonable consideration.

The CPU use gets up to 25-30% as indicated by the task manager, not a great amount but noticeable.

The RAM use is of note to me by reason I was using a Ryzon 3 with 8G RAM, and its use by the task manager's reading was as high as 85%.

If I go for a slight bump in processing power and it happens to get me better quality video when I do use this media, I may as well just go for it.

This is something I will hang onto for years by reason I do research and will not be tagged with needing ever higher video processing demands like the video game players.

No use is intended for gaming or other graphics-intensive tasks.

Since an advancement to 32G RAM seems reasonable, I may as well spring for the Intel i7 14--- and realize what I think will be better video and overall function performance.

The added cost would be modest.

My perspective is to view such an expenditure as a long-term investment, as in several years, so I do mind springing out some extra *(modest) money.

Stay with the 770 GPU or go for the the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super by reason the extra expense is modest in light of a long-term commitment?

Any dedicated card will take on the "work" that the CPU is currently working on for video processing. Therefore freeing up the CPU.

I'd say go for it.
