I have all of the above, I just don't know which one's which anymore because they all have codes as names, this means I don't know which one is the chipset driver.

Is that a problem?

Yep because you don`t know which one to install first.

Suggest that you do the drivers again but this time once you have dragged them across see if you can rename them, do the chipset drivers first, once it has been dragged to your folder, right click on the drivers and see if it give you the option to rename, if yes, rename as chipset and press enter and the name should be changed.

Heading out for an hour or so but will check back later.

I also named them as seen in the screenshot below. You think it's all ready and set up properly now?

You only need the three that were mentioned, chipset, storage and Lenovo GPU and they must be installed in that order, once you are done you only need to manually install any other drivers if you have issues later on.

One last thing I suggest that you do before you begin, as a precautionary measure write down and keep in a safe place the Windows 11 product key, you can use Magical Jelly Bean ( Free ) keyfinder to get the present key, let us know when you have secured the product key.

I have secured the product key and I have the chipset, storage and Lenovo GPU saved on the thumbdrive in that order.

Great, you are ready to go  :thumbsup:

Because your PC is up and running I suggest that you do the clean install this way;

Insert the USB that has the Windows ISO on it.

Open the ISO folder and double click on the Windows 11 setup.exe icon..

Follow the installation steps as they appear on the screen and if given any options to choose from you want to select the keep nothing option.

Remember, do not let Windows check for updates, keep the PC disconnected from the internet until Windows and the drivers that you have saved have been correctly installed.

NB:Dont forget to remove your drivers USB stick before you begin to install Windows 11.

Any questions, please ask.

Do I just disconnect my Ethernet cable and turn the Wi-Fi option off in settings?

Last question, when do I download the drivers? Once Windows is installed and I'm inside of the PC I just download them 1 by 1?

Both are the best way to do it yes.

Correct, chipset. SATA/storage and Lenovo video drivers, restart after each installation but only go back on the internet when the three have been done.

Whatever you do, do not once up and running go anywhere near the Nvidea website or let Windows install any Nvidea drivers, keep one screen attached and test as is by using the computer as you normally would, doing things this way is the only clean and surefire way of making sure that your PC is set up right, if anything changes further down the line you will know for sure that it something that has been installed that has changed things.

So you're saying I never download the Geforce Experience application and through that the GPU drivers?

I ONLY ever use the 3 you mentioned above?

So you're saying I never download the Geforce Experience application and through that the GPU drivers?

At this time that is correct and for the very reasons explained in reply #38 above.

Use the latest GPU drivers that are available direct from Lenovo, even if it says Windows 10 and not Windows 11 then follow the exact steps that I provided above.

I did exactly this last night and It didn't give me any options to choose from and It simply downloaded Windows 11 again and launched my PC. I still have everything that was on the PC, every file and application.

Don't know what I did wrong but this wasn't what was supposed to happen I dont think.

No idea what went wrong there  :headscratch:

Going to have to do this via the boot menu;

Restart the computer so that you can enter the BIOS.

When in the BIOS, change the boot sequence so that the computer boots from a USB drive first and the SSD second.

Save the new settings, exit the BIOS, insert your USB stick with the ISO on it into a USB port.

Restart the PC and hopefully follow the on screen instructions to clean install Windows.

Please note that Windows needs to install a feature update before you will be able to install your three lots of drivers, as soon as the feature update is installed and you have a fully working Windows in front of you, disconnect from the internet and install your three important drivers, chipset first and please do a restart after you have installed the chipset drivers.
