I get to a certain place and it doesn’t offer me the option to connect without internet. According to several videos it should be at the bottom left of the screen. But it isn’t there and the only thing I can do is connect to my WiFi which I was not told to do if I want to give this computer away. Any thoughts? Thx.

Your thread title says that you want " to totally wipe my pc for resale " but your uploaded picture suggests that you are trying to clean install Windows !

What is it that you are actually wanting to achieve and how have you been going about it.

You are welcome btw  :)

To truly wipe a drive you need something like DBan, benefits, it will be as clean a drive as you will be able to achieve, downside, it will be harder to sell a computer without an OS + you will not get as much cash for it as you could do, the Windows product key is non transferable so any new owner would have to pay for Windows or use Linux.

I personally would set Windows up, get it fully updated and then stop using the notebook, when you come to sell you will get a better return that way
