STIMON invalid page fault error

Help....I have recently had problems with my canoscan n650U not being recognized, and getting the following error message when windows starts: "Stimon caused an invlaid page fault in module No65UFW.DLL:. I hit close and windows continues to boot fine, however I have no scanner of course. How can I fix this?
