missing files on my computer

i have managhed to install those missing files but now when i try to boot it halt the system and it says a device or resourse required by Vfat is not present or unavailable. Vfat cannot continue loading.

no my computer is xylo celeron cpu. when i insert boot disk and i type sys c: to transfare files it works and i have to change to c: prompt and type cd:\win98 it says invalid directory. when type dir on the c: there is no win98 file.
can you please give me steps from inserting floppy disk up to the end and all the optional command must use.

this is not a pretty problem, and some of it has to do with your being a little hyper, ronny.
Take a breath, calm down. Follow instructions. We'll get through this, hopefully.
I suspect a fairly significant harddrive issue that seems to be getting worse.
First...what boot disk did you use? Where did it come from?
Second...where did you get the files you restored to this system? Was it from the same version of windows 98, or something else?
Last I saw, you were at c:\windows.
If that is the case, type cd..
you will now be at
now type
attrib -r -a -s -h autoexec.bat <enter>
attrib -r -a -s -h config.sys <enter>
rename autoexec.bat autoexec.bak <enter>
rename config.sys config.bak <enter>
reboot...what, if anything happens differently?

now my computer does not give me options. it just gives me blue screen and it says Vfat device initialization failed.
i have managed to do the above information and now it says
the following files are missing or corrupted c:\windows\dblbuff.sys and c:\windows\ifshlp.sys
other error says file creation error
