I was wonder if it was possible to uninstall windows 98 and install Windows XP. I just can't figure out how to do it. PLEASE HELP ME ;) :tazz:

Howdy and welcome to G2G:

Not that hard really.. Just make sure the first boot device in BIOS is set to anything BUT the hard-drive..

Now, put your WinXP cd into the cd-rom and re-start the system.. From there, just follow the prompts.. When asked, you WANT to remove all partitions and install XP..

BTW, these instructions will only work for an original XP install cd.. If you are using one you or someone else copied for you, then it is a different install procedure!!
