yeah but the thing is i cant open media player at all

Ok try this, go to that control panel and open Add/Remove programs and on the left of the window chose Set program acess and Defaults. Open the drop down list called custom and under media player set the one you wan't as the default and then untick allow acess to this program next to Windows Media player, this will prevent anything from trying to open Winodws Media Player

that dident work is there a way i can fix windows media player? i tryed that thing u gave me a while back the 2 code things came back working properly i tryed the second method i believe but for the first one i dont have my windows xp cd i lost it so what can i do about that

sorry I can't help any more, I don't know of any thing else that would help execpt you could try posting a topic in that malware foram and tell the person that answers to treat Windows Media player like a vrirs. they should know how to remove something. And after wards reinstall it. And as to loseing the CD try asking Mirosoft for a replacement, they might give you one.
