I am not sure if anyone else has had this problem. Everytime I try to open VB.NET the program loads fine but onces it completely opens windows installer pops up and then closes vb.net. I am trying to figure out why it is doing this. This is the first time I've installed it. If anyone can help please do. Thanks in advance.

I would try to un-installing and then reinstall it, there might be a possibility of that something got hosed up, when you where installing it.

I am not really for sure what you are meaning with window installer.

Microsoft has a default installer for their programs called Windows Installer. Loads up before most MS products can install. I guess it just prepares the OS for the new software.
