ok, this looks like an interesting program. I did a quick google to see what I could find out. is this the full version or the demo? if this is a full version is this on cd, iso, from a download point, ect.

if you downloaded it (don't know if they offer that as an option when you purchase it) it could be a bad download.

It's a full version wich a friend of mine got from kazaa. I don't think it's a bad download because he installed the software without any problems. I downloaded the demo version too (from alcatech official page) and tried to install it, but the same thing happens. I thought this might occur because the attribute for c:\windows\temp is set to read only. I changed it to system from dos level using "attrib -r +s c:\windows\temp" but it didn't help. I think i didn't change it well because when i right click the folder the read only box is still checked but the hidden box is greyed out. When i check for the attribute in windows explorer it appears to be S (system). Any ideas?

closing this thread. I suspected that this wasn't a leagal version when I saw the price for the full version of the software. please read our terms of use

If you want it to work properly then buy it. what you download from kazaa or any other p2p is not only hacked, cracked, modified, but could potentially put you at extreme risk for spyware, viri, and other nasty stuff.
