Hi...

While on the internet the other day, all of a sudden I received a "Security Warning" which shut me down. The message said:

A fatal error in IE has occured at 0028:C0011E36 in VXD VMM(01) +
00010E36. Error was caused by Trojan-Spy.HTML.Smitfraud.c

* System cannot function in normal mode. Please check your security settings.

* Scan your PC with any available antivirus / spyware remover program to fix the problem.

I found this same message posted on your site. The problem is, I cannot run my McAfee and my computer is not letting me install any new antivirus software.

Is there any way to remove this virus manually? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks...MClarke

Can you post me a HijackThis log for the infected computer?
