What is the easiest way to transfer emails from an old laptop onto the new desktop?

Should I just archive everything and export it to a USB storage? <_<

Just search for outlook.pst, and copy it to the same location on your new desktop.

so copy it to a flash drive and then load it onto the new pc?

Depends on the size of your .pst file, but that ought to work.
