iv had avg free edition 4 a year.but its stopped working and am getting a msg saying its out of date. so i unistalled it and then installled it again but i dont av the registration number now and cant seem 2 get a new 1 off there site. do ihave 2 download whole program again? dont really want 2 do that as it took ages the 1st time as iv only got a dial up connection. please help.

The last time I downloaded AVG, it didn't require that registration number anymore. OK, get it again here. That site is the free one. See if it works for you this time.

I know it will take a while, but I'm pretty sure that one should work. I remember that they email you the registration number, but if I recall correctly, this one doesn't require it anymore.
