my ps2 is F***ed but i want to play ace combat 4 so can i get a ps2 emulator i found 1 called pcsx2 is that gd and wot files do i dl for the emulator

I think the rule on emulators is that if you own a PS2 and you own ace combat 4 then it isn't illegal to use an emulator but it is illegal to download roms off the internet without owning them.

You have to go to different rom sites but you can get an emulator that would allow you to just put you ps2 disc into the CD drive and start to play. I had one for PS1 but i never could get it to work right but good luck.

The emulators are not themselves illegal, but the BIOS files and the game ISOs are illegal, IF you do not own a legal copy yourself. If you own a legal console yourself, you are allowed to make exactly ONE copy of the BIOS as a backup to run on an emulator.

The PS2 has not been adequately emulated yet, especially if you do not have a top-of-the-line computer. PCSX2 is the farthest along, but it's not yet production-ready.

PS1 has been emulated for years.

Thats the only way I could play FFT and Legend of Dragoon after my PS died.

Can someone tell me what is the best ps1 emulator, i got a ps1 on the first day it came out or something like that and obviously that being a while ago and me being pretty young when i got it it eventually broke but i quite fancy trying some of my old games on the pc.

If you can find it, look for a prog called Emurayden. (May be "emuraiden" but I think the 1st one is right)
Other than that, PSEmu.

hey i tried Emurayden and PSEmu and neither worked, it said it couldnt read the BIOs even tho they were in the folder. i've been tryin 2 find an emulator for psx for a while and the same problem comes up every time. if u know how 2 fix it can u tell me?
