I just started playing everquest again after not playing for 5 or so months, and I realize there have been some changes. Most notable for me is that I am now missing several graphics on the pc and npc models, such as the faces are just blank white spaces, same for ears and necks and in the case of froglok, the entire lower half of their bodies, like there should be a graphic there, but there isnt, its either a blank black or white space. I've queried GMs in EQ and they give the standard call tech support response, which doesnt help because I'm then told to talk to GMs in game for support on this issue. My wife also plays and she doesn't have this problem, yet I have the higher supported video card, nvidia geforce card. I dont understand it at all, I've done file checks, and made sure things are turned on, I've tweaked eqclient.ini to ensure models are loaded and everything I can think of. Am I the only one whose experienced this?

Have you tried reinstalling it? I'm not familiar with Everquest, so try re-installing it, unless it is a Java based game.

oh I thought everyone knew everquest <_< Its a massive online role playing game, you gotta pay to play, its about 2gig big, but I discovered the problem, everquest demanded I upgrade my video card to the latest drivers, that was the problem, I downgraded to another version of driver on my computer and the problem vanished, I was rather stunned and amazed, to be honest. That the newest drivers would screw graphics up so badly.

But thankyou for your reply.
