Basically, the only thing I'm good at with computers is HTML and that doesn't help me at all now... So, I'm an idiot who wants Linux but obviously can't get it because she doesn't know how. Help with this problem? Or tell me I'm an idiot and go away. Either way works. Point me to a good site, a program, SOMETHING, or tell me to shut up... because either way I'd get the point. Haha. Or if not Linux, what could I do to make my computer work better, look better, and maybe just not suck all around? I've only had this 98 for a few days (it belonged to the sisters) and now I really, really want to do something with it. It's old, I don't like the way it's set up... it's just frusturating. :/ If not that, then can you point me to a good media player and internet server (not FireFox, I hate netscape.) to use that will work on 98. Thanks in advance.

the easiest way to get into linux if you don't know specifically the distro that yo uwant is to go pick up a copy of linux format magazine...each issue has either the cd install or the dvd install of their featured distro for the month...plus it tells you how to install it
