I want to install Linux and I have a CD for it, how do I boot from a CD because according to the book I need to install it by booting from the disk.#

Howdy:

Boot into BIOS and make sure the forst boot device is set for the cd-rom..

Put the Linux cd in and reboot your system.. Away you go !!
