installed spysweeper & now i can't log on to my home page unless i shut down spysweeper first. message says " internet explorer not responding. "

Hi there

If you open Spysweeper, select the "Shields" option from the LH pane, you can reset the access to your home page from there

You may also want to get Ad Aware or Spybot for better protection. Pest Patrol isn't that bad either.

Actually SpySweeper is one of the best antimalware tools available. They have put considerable time into their definitions and the product.
