Bear with me as I am computer illiterate. I am having trouble playing DVD's on my laptop. They "drag" and skip. Is this a processor speed problem? video card? any suggestions?

Hello,

The more information you can provide about your computer the better, a few quick questions:
1) What operating system are you using?
2) What speed is your processor? How much memory? How fast is your DVD-ROM drive?
3) Is DMA enabled for your DVD-ROM drive?

Cheers,
Tom
