ok i no im not supost to put this type of stuff in here but i kindda need to no.
ok i need to no does the number on the end matter ie. pc 3400 or can you out two differnt types together ie. pc 3400 and a pc 4500

This is more of a hardware question, but I seem to recall that you can mix RAM types, but it operates at the lower spped.

For example, if you had a PC3400 and a PC4500, both would operate at PC3400 speeds.

I would highly recommend, however, that you not only match speeds (PC3400 with PC3400) but you also match brands. Memory conflicts can and do occur and can be an absolute pain in the butt to diagnose.
