As some of you may remember I was given a dual processor machine awhile back. I plan on putting suse9.2 pro on this as I heard linux will support dual processor. I have heard since from someone ( with unknown linux knowledge) that it might be a problem getting it to support this out of the box. does anyone have experience with this? it's a piii-800mhz dual with 1gb ram. It's a tyan motherboard and i will probably put a gfmx4000 or like an fx5200 or some such..... a lower end nvidia 4x card anyway..... Anyone have any opinions, suggestions, ect.... I still need to get a vid card, a hard drive and probably a dvd( combo or rw) for it so I haven't done anything with it yet...No I don't remember off the top of my head what model tyan the board is I'll look when i get a chance......

thanks to any/all input..

Thought I'd let you all know..... I installed this without a hitch as far as dual processor. Suse came right up and detected it and installed an smp compatible core..... Now the only problem is getting it to recognize the Geforce mx4000 card I bought for it. So far I haven't had time to mess with it much since install so we'll see..... It didn't install it correctly and is using a generic vesa driver for it. I tried using the suse updater to update the driver but that didn't work either so It's looking Like I'll have to do it manually.....
