[SIZE=7] the other day i started word 2002 up on my desktop and noticed that in each corner of the page was one 'L' shaped object, kind of like an inward facing corner frame! i know they're margin markers but how do i turn them off? there just doesn't seem to be an option to get rid of them and the fact they just appeared one day is quite confusing?!

Hi <_<

I have word 2002 I know that there is an option under view on the toolbar to uncheck the box labeled ruler and those L -shaped margins will go away.
Let me know if that helps ,if not i may have another option beacuse your problem may have to do with a simple fix under options ,let me know.

i've tried fiddling with the ruler option on the view toolbar but with or without the rulers, the L shaped margin markers are still there.
the closest thing i've found to fixing the margin markers is by turning on and off the text boundaries?
please could you tell me your next idea?!
thanks

ps- as well as the margin markers appearing one day, asian and korean settings have turned themselves on also?! i know have settings and features regarding asian/korean typography and grammar that were not there before
