I have Bear Share pro 4.6.0. I have just re-formatted the hard drive and re-installed Windows. Before I did this, I had no Windows Updates installed. Now, I have up to service pack 2. Before the formatting Bear Share worked fine, but now, it will not connect. I followed all of the instructions on how to get thru the firewall but to no avail. I have a Dell Demension 4600 PC with Pentium 4 and XP.

Any help is Appriciated

Thanks

Yes, I followed the tutorial that they provided. But there was a problem. The troubleshoot told me to go to Start, Control Pannel, Network and Internet Connections, Network Connections. The I was told to right click on my internet connection and hit properties. Then go to advanced, and check allow others to use this network so then I could acess the settings and add the bearshare profile, TCP, External Port 6346, internal port 6346 and name or IP, localhost. That all worked. but when I hit ok, then ok on the advanced settings, then finnaly the connection properties, it gives me the following message,

"An error occured while Internet Sharing was being enabled
Internet sharing cannot be enabled.
A LAN connection is already configured with the IP adress
that is required for IP adressing."

I have Comcast High Speed Internet and Windows Firewall on XP

Further help is appriciated

Thanks
