Does anyone know how to save the updates which has been downloaded through "LIVE UPDATE" of norton antivirus .. ?
For example, i have installed the Norton Antivirus 2005, and now i have updated my NAV from the LIVE UPDATE, after few days, my NAV corrupts for some reason, now i have to reinstall the NAV again, after reinstalling, i again have to update the NAV from LIVE UPDATE ... is there anyway that i save the previously installed updates so i dont have to update it again ? is there number of files which i have to save ?
Well, there is also an intelligent updater available on www.Symantec.com but it only updates Virus definitions .. i want to update all features of NAV .. plz help me out

I dont think that you can do that because the files will need a program to get it from once put on.

Athough we understand that the intentioin of the thread starter here is lagitmate, I fear that what you talking about here risks explaining how to get arround not having a legal copy to start with so it will be hard to get people to reply I imagine, otherwise one would unwittingly create prirates here.

there isnt any way to do that. once NAV is gone the updates go with it. trust me, this isnt the way to get around not having a legit copy of NAV. there are a lot more much better ways and I dont care to tell anyone about them.

I could do you a huge favor and tell you to just uninstall Norton and get something free thats easier to use like AVG. *Personal Preference only*
