Just wondering if anyone's used Kanotix distro, if they've got any info about it.

Guess not. :tazz:
I'll let y'all know what I think after I rip out the CDRom in the old tower (its not spinning up right / reading CDs right) and put a newer one in.

Woo... this is such a nice OS...
Installed in under 30 min from the LiveCD...
Now I'm dual-booting WinME / Kanotix

I have the Live cd but I've only booted it once. It was on my win2000 machine and it right away came up and warned not to mess with the ntfs partitions so I really didn't do much with it. It did look pretty slick. Let me know what you think... when( if ) I get some time I plan on messing around with some other distros including kanotix. ( I use suse9.2pro )

Quick and easy.
Autoconfigures for the install etc...

I was going to have it running on a seperate machine, but the CD-Rom drive died, so I took the HD from that tower, added to my WinME machine and installed.

Easy to setup, easy to use.
I previously ATTEMPTED to install Gentoo, but that failed horribly... I could get it to load Gnome, but that was about it.
For a Linux Newb like me, this was definately the place to start...
