on a couple of different programs in Windows, when we click Help -> and go to the help index for the program, pages are coming up "The Page Cannot Be Displayed" as if we were trying to open a website... is there a setting that a.) blocks ie from opening pages from help if its online help or b.) attempts to contact a website from a help menu when it is not in fact necessary...

the programs are called Vantage and AutoCAD, these are the two that i have seen it happen in, but it appears to be a general windows problem rather than being specific to those two programs. any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

There's a malware problem that corrupts one of the files needed to open Help files. Hopefully someone with more specific information will come along to help you.
