I was having problems getting WinMX to connect, but finally got that worked out through my ISP technical support. However, now I cannot get any searches accomplished. I type in an artist's name or a song title and click search and it says it is waiting for search results, but none ever come through.

Since posting my original problem about completing searches, I have learned that if I open WinMX with a secondary connection, the search feature works. It must be something about my DSL connection, but I don't understand it. I just know that is what I have to do to complete a search. If I open with my primary connection only, the search never completes.

i'm having exactly the same problem that i only get search result by using secondary connection, if i use primary connectoin, i don't get anything.
if anyone knows how to solve this problem, please help!!!!!!!!
