When I try to launch internet explorer I get this message

"This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."

I can get IE to work by "restoring" the computer to an earlier date but very shortly I get the same condition again.

I've scanned for viruses and spyware. Computer seems to be clean.

Have you installed any new software or hardware letely? Do you have the Google toolbar? These may cause a runtime error.

Thanks for pointing out the problem with Google toolbar. I've removed teh toolbar and Internet Explorer works fine now. No more runtime error.
