I've been thinking of making a homesite for my clan, and was wondering if anyone here knew about any good FREE editing programs.
The best thing would be a program than made it possibule for me to use HTML, but still also just do some simple changes by clicking on my mouse :tazz:
(It also have to handle flash files and javascripts).

I were thinking about just using a Crimson editor or something like that, but then I can't edit anything without scripts...
Anyway if anyone has a suggestion please respond...

mmm... Any free publish sites would also be good

Hello,

I am assuming you are talking about free HTML editing programs and there is a nice free open-source program called "Nvu" that is similar in design and usage to Dreamweaver and MS Frontpage. You can check it out at:

http://www.nvu.com/

I have used it for awhile now and have been very happy with it. Has support for CSS.

Cheers,
Tom

Hello,

For free web hosting, a google search will reveal quite a number of options. If I had to choose one, I would probably go with the free hosting from Yahoo's Geocities. 15 Mb of disk space and also features some site design tools that you may be able to use in designing your site. You can check it out at:

http://geocities.yahoo.com/

Cheers,
Tom

When you start designing your website, it can be quite helpful to start from a template or atleast look at a number to get ideas of what you like, don't like. There is a web-site dedicated to free open-source web templates and I have used them as the basis for a number of sites. You can check them out at:

Tom

Thanks Tom...
