Hey BillyBobJunior...
Is this a Gateway computer?
wannabe1
As you can see Wannabe1 has replied and Fenor asked this
Is the computer a pre-built? Like a Dell, Gateway, eMachines, etc...?? If so ask for the make and model. That will help alot in determining what board is in there because I have no clue from the info provided. Maybe have him post a full report from Everest that will show us the north/south bridges and such and from there can determine what the board is. Also ask if he has had someone else add or change anything to the machine since he bought it.

Hi BillyBobJunior!
No, you would find this on the computer itself. It will say the name somewhere on the front as well as the model number. Like Dell Dimension 2400, Compaq Presario 5000, etc...

It's not a sticker, it will be part of the case itself. You can't miss the writing.
