What good would his ip do you? Anything you could do with it would most likely be illegal anyway.

report him to aol or something. no point trying to get his ip.

Regular messages get sent through the AIM server, so you don't have access to his IP unless you "direct connect". Then you could use netstat to find the IP, and report it to his ISP.
