Hi everyone! :tazz: I have some questions about AP classes..
1. Is anybody taking any AP classes?
2. If so, what are your impressions?
3. How hard are they?
4. Which ones does your school offer?

For me,
1. Yes, AP Calculus and AP Biology (only three offered to Juniors, but everyone warned against taking all three)
2. A ton of homework and work, but I'm learning a lot.
3. At my school, they are somewhat difficult. I usually get A's (I have a 3.9 something, I was out for over half the term once and got two 94% grades), but in AP Bio, I only got about a 93%
4. Juniors: AP Bio, Calc, and US History

AP Bio. Im taking it as a senior.

We dont have a lot of homework, just reading every few weeks, and a lab report every now and then.

Its supposed to be one of the harder AP classes at my school, but I am finding it fairly easy.

I have a 86 in the class right now. (if I can get a 90%, I dont have to take the final!)

I wish we had the same opportunity. The final in AP Bio was difficult, but it brought my grade up from a 90% to a 93%. It was worth nearly half of our grade! In AP Bio, we have a ton of labs and notes.

I believe that AP Calc is the hardest class offered at my school.

PS: Are your AP classes on a 5.0 or 4.0 scale?
The classes at my school get 1.0 added.

AP classes get an extra .50 added onto the GPA. So an A would be 4.5, B would be 3.5 ect...

AP Bio and AP World

Taking both as a senior, my first AP classes ever. Have 70 averages for both classes for first semester. Aiming for 85+ in those classes.
