Welcome sing52 to Geeks to Go!

Download Pocket Killbox
http://http://www.do...org/KillBox.zip
Unzip it to your desktop

Click killbox.exe and place a tick next to “delete on reboot”.
Copy this whole list into the windows clipboard, all the Bolded below.

C:\windows\services.exe
C:\windows\system32\reginv.dll
C:\windows\system32\fservice.exe
C:\windows\system32\winkey.dll
C:\windows\system\sservice.exe
C:\windows\system32\wininv.dll

Click the red highlighted X button and say yes to the prompt if all the files have been put there, then click OK.
Exit Killbox and restart your PC.

***

Open HijackThis > click "Do a system scan only"
Place a checkmark next to the entries below.
After you have done that close all browsers and windows except
HijackThis, and have HijackThis fix them by clicking Fix Checked:

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\fservice.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Alcmtr] ALCMTR.EXE

***

Copy the bold text below to Notepad, and save in a location of your choice as
Regfix.reg (make sure to save as type: "All Files")

Doubleclick Regfix.reg, and answer 'yes' when prompted to add its
contents to the Registry

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer\Run]
"DirectX For Microsoft® Windows"=-

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"Shell"="Explorer.exe"

Reboot the computer, run HijackThis again and post that log in your next reply.
