:tazz: I have a linksys router, I have two computers connected to the router that is connected to the modem .. one pc works great, the other shows that it is connected, but I am not able to get online... Both machines are Windows XP ... The router is a Linksys G - I am at work so I do not have the model number, but if it is needed I can get it. Any help is appreciated ... thank you!

first go to my network places then on the left go to view network connections and then find your network card. right click and go to properties. next on the list select TCP/IP and hit propeties button below. from there make sure obtain ip address automaticly is checked. this is for the pc that can't connect.
