Right; I've been having this problem for a few days now, and it's starting to worry me excessively.

I found that I could no longer log onto MSN Messenger due to "A problem with ports", however the Network connection seems to be fine for everybody else on the network. Irritated, I tried logging onto my online inbox. No longer accessible to my PC, but available if I log on from another computer. After that, I tried logging into Forumplanet. That also failed.

Getting highly suspicious, I checked to see if my Firewall settings were alright. Then I find that someone had switched Norton Internet Security off; and removed the "Switch On" button completely from the program, and prevented me from viewing Options and such, because my "account type is limited". It's set to a Computer administrator account type, so this was more than enough to arouse suspicion.

After finding out the Firewall was down, I tried running AdAware. Definitions were slightly out of date, so I tried updating them. Nada, something created an error and blocked it downloading the new definitions. I ran it as is, and it found numerous Key loggers from the same producer. I tried running Spybot; and it found 32 Key logger entries under the title of a load of symbols with "DáN" in the middle of the gibberish.

I downloaded and ran HijackThis v1.99.1 (cannot update this either; attempts are blocked), and got a few entries. Some I know to be safe, but I am unsure about the rest...could I get a second/third opinion?

Anything that could be causing this sort of problem?

On a side note, I found a link to a download of something to block a Ms4Hd parasite (whatever that is...), but that was blocked also. Could this be an Ms4hd problem?
