i got a massive attack of spyware and i was able to remove them with spybot/ms spytool/adaware SE

i have this blue background with a spyware warning on my desktop.. and i cant get rid of it. the display settings are all greyed out so i cant pick a new bg. how do i solve this? i read about a gsedit or something but im using XP Home. please help meh :tazz:
