Have 3 programs on my computer that flash to open and disappear as soon as they flash. Checked my windows files all fine. Ran virus scan and adware. Can't figure out why they wont open. Put same program on another computer and it opens correctly. What could be the problem?

A bit more info needed:

1. Both computers using same version of Windows?

2. Both using same service-pack (SP1 or SP2)?

3. What are the actual progs. that won't run?

Both computers are using windows xp but one is 2 l/2 yrs old, 2nd is brand new. Programs that will not open are Traffic Equalizer a website traffic program, and Aol spyware is doing the same thing. Can see the program flash and disappear without opening. How do I determine if the programs are Sp1 or Sp 2?

I am having a similiar problem, with 2 different peoples machines. Both are running XP sp2. Both had a tone of Spyware on them, and a few viruses.

I have ran AVG 7.0, NAV, Stinger, Adaware, Spy-bot, MS Antispyware, and Pestpatrol.

Finds nothing wrong. Different programs on each computer.

Grrrrrrr.....

I see the program for a second, and then it flashes off.

I do notice a service (process) running on the one machine as the local user called 'lIbY.exe' that I can not end, if I do, it just reappears.

Any suggestions.
