I have been infected with numerous malware in these few weeks itself. The first to come was SpySheriff but after following the instructions, i managed to get rid of it BUT at the cost of my desktop turning into something ancient. It no longer have the vibrant colour that it used to be and i wonder why. But that's not the main problem. Two days ago, i was strucked by virus and malware again. This time, Ewido detected 66 spyware/malware in my pc and Norton detected 4 virus/trojan in my pc. I tried to ask help earlier but i see no one is free yet to help, SO i tried to clean it myself. After all the shits, i managed to get my pc running again but it's so freaking annoying now.

That malware infection turned off my Norton auto protection and i can't turn it on again. Said about somethign i need to get an online scan. So i went BUT imagine my agony when it said that only Explorer 5.5 or higher can access it. I checked my version and it's written clearly that i am using the version 6.0 but how come the website can't detect it? But i downloaded and installed the version 6.0 as well but the other website still can't detect it. can someone please tell me what should i do now?

Please do let me know if you need any HJT log or what ever .. Below are my questions again.

1. How can i return my desktop to its vibrant colour again? The themes are lost.
2. How can i enable my Norton to auto-protect again?
3. How i can fix my explorer SO that it will not pretend to be a version 5.5 and below again?
4. Any way i can return my computer to a normal state?
