Does anyone remember PFFILE that was part of Office in the 80s?  What is the file extension of the files?  I had data on a disk and pffile will not open it.  How can I get data from teh disk?

Not sure about pffile but you can easily find the extension.  Just open File Explorer, click on View, then check the box for File Name Extension and it should show you the extension for the file.

There used to be some .pf files used to prefetch files to make Windows load faster.  Nirsoft has a viewer for them.
