A couple of days ago, I got a message from my Charter Hi-Speed Security Suite (Charter Communications is my ISD) that said that it had detected two virus programs. It gave me an abbreviated name for each; these were (assuming that I wrote the names down correctly):

JS/LinkerP@tilo
JS/SillyDownload

The Charter stuff said that it could not, or did not remove the programs, but "renamed" them.

Also, from time to time, I get a message that "TGCMD Module" is trying to connect with the internet.

When I start my computer normally, it reboots nearly immediately. But if I push "F8" during start-up and go to the option to restart using the last known settings that worked (or whatever the terminology is) the thing stays on... and lets me contact you even now.

You great people helped this old geezer through some tough times before... here's hoping you can work your magic again!
