Hello,

I am having the winfixer and other pop-ups coming up on my computer all of a sudden. I didn't have this before. I am scared to go to several sites because of this. I tried ad-ware, spy bot, MS security software etc. and the symantec software and I try scanning my computer everyday, nevertheless, the pop-ups are here and the winfixer is an unwanted guest. please help me...I am scared to death...thank you, microbe

We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and reply here with your log.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! I will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results in this thread.

Thanks
