I am posting for a friend. Her daughter saved a document that had been pasted into Wordpad. They went to go open it in WordPerfect and it is all jibberish coded. Is there anyway to change this back to text?? This is a fairly newer computer just purchased a few months back. Any ideas? Thanks!

You could open the Wordpad document, hilight the text and select copy. Then open a new Wordperfect document and paste the text.

Well that is in jibber now because she had saved it and had closed out the program wordpad. So whenever she tries to ever open that document it is not readable and all computer lingo. Of course, I am not myself experiencing this, but all secondhand knowledge. Any other ideas? Thank you so much!!

How about changing the extension of the Wordpad file to .wbk?
