I have a Hitachi Hi8 camera. It has a cable that exports S-video along with the red/white audio. That is currently connected to my ATI All-In-Wonder 8500DV dongle which accepts all 3 (S-video & 2-audio). I am able to view the output in ATI's TV Tuner program, but it won't let me hit the "record" button to record it live since I want a AVI file with audio.

Additionally, I have Pinnacle Studio Plus 9.3.4 (the latest besides Pinnacle 10), and I've been able to capture & edit DV video from my DV cam, but when I choose the "ATI Rage Theater Video Capture" as the source, nothing displays in Pinnacle's capture preview window.

So if anyone can tell me either:
A) How to record the video in ATI's program to an AVI file w/ audio.
or
B) How to get Pinnacle to recognize the input of the S-video along with the audio so I can record it in Pinnacle as an AVI file...

I've tried Pinnacle's "AM Capture" tool as well, same problem, nothing comes through. It's as if ATI knows how to display the footage, but Pinnacle doesn't even though the driver obviously must be on my system....Am I missing something?

Thanks! I've read many responses here, at Pinnacle's website, and read through the ATI manual to no avail...
